Guar Gum is a natural gum made from the endosperm part of the leguminous plant Cyamopsis tetragonolobus (L.) Taub. (Fam. Leguminosae) after being refined and crushed.

Guar Gum

Guar Gum is a natural colloid, which is viscous in liquid, has heat resistance and salt resistance. The pH value will affect its viscosity, which is the highest at pH 6-10. It can be compatible with other tackifiers, such as agar, pectin, carrageenan, etc., to adjust the proper viscosity and increase the plasticity and strengthening of the gum.

- Solubility: soluble in cold water, warm water and hot water
